Horror Inc Review: A Wickedly Fun Indie Horror Comedy That Slays with Satire

I juHorror Incst caught this savage little indie horror film called Horror Inc by Stabby Time TV at a festival screening, and wow—what a blast!

Picture this: a bloodied final girl sprinting through the woods, masked killer hot on her heels, chainsaw roaring like it’s auditioning for Texas Chainsaw Massacre… but right before the kill shot? Bureaucracy strikes.

Cue the clipboard-wielding interruption, paperwork nightmares, and red tape that turns a straight-up slasher into corporate hell.

Horror Inc is a razor-sharp horror-comedy mockumentary that perfectly nails the balance between genuinely creepy atmosphere and laugh-out-loud absurdity.

One second you’re jumping at the tension, the next you’re cackling at how the killer has to fill out incident reports mid-murder. It’s like if The Office crashed into a slasher flick, but with way more blood and better timing.

The cinematography really pops—tight, moody shots that build real dread before flipping the script for comedy gold. The scares actually land when they need to, and the practical effects (that chainsaw doesn’t mess around) give it that gritty indie edge.

Shaylynn McMaster and Colin Deacon Glass bring the chaos to life with spot-on performances that sell both the terror and the ridiculousness.

If you’re hunting for fresh festival short films, especially indie horror comedy gems that poke fun at the genre without losing the edge, Horror Inc is a must-watch. It’s savage, smart, and already making waves on the festival circuit. Survival isn’t about running it’s about surviving the checklist.

Highly recommend this one. 9/10 chainsaws. Go track it down if it hits more fests or online-trust me, you won’t regret the red-tape detour.
